JJRC RC Quadcopter F180 Mini Toy 2.4G 4CH 6-axis Gyro

JJRC RC quadcopter Introduction

This JJRC F180 is a great copter to practice your aerobatic skills or if your on your journey to becoming an accomplished multi rotor pilot. It can take all the tumbles and rolls of aggressive flying over grass. It looks small but it’s OK with blades protection.

Way different than small quads I have been flying – they require no wind to fly outside. But this one can be used under light to moderated wind conditions if you remember to set the control to 100% and always fly upwind!

JJRC RC quadcopter Easy-Control

Like anything, the controls take some getting used to. It’s fast with the Take Off and is swift through the air. It does tricks and is overall quite an impressive. The guard does well protecting the sides and the bottom but not the top when you hit it into a rock ceiling. Side flips, front flips, back flips, 3D are no big deal!

The average flight time is 6 to 10 minutes, which is as good as it gets considering its lifting its whole weight and flying, it’s not on wheels people. I always push it to the limits by flying at 100%. If you want to play with it longer, buy an extra battery.

JJRC RC quadcopter Powerful Charger

It’s also worth mentioning that this drone has powerful, responsive motors. So just adjust the throttle slowly to avoid damage caused by loss of control. And the motors and circuit board will heat up with use. Take a 10 minute cool down break between flights to ensure your parts last as long as possible. BTW the USB charger should be used under currents input 0.5A.

All in all, I’m very impressed with the JJRC F180 and I can easily recommend it for those who want to learn how to fly and master a drone before investing in bigger ones.
